Clubs and Players Manager

As the Clubs and Players Manager your primary purpose is to oversee and foster the relationships with esports clubs and players, ensuring their optimal performance, growth, and satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with esports clubs and players, driving collaborative success, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the Esports World Cup Foundation.

Key responsibilities

The Clubs/Players Manager works hand in hand with the Directors of Clubs/Players in three areas:

Nurturing and managing relations with leading and upcoming esports clubs and players:

• Manage relationships with selected leading clubs and players
• Engage selected clubs into collaboration to grow and develop EWC, proactively explore opportunities
• Own database of top clubs globally, incl. tracking of performance, latest updates, key stakeholders, marketing activities, and overall trends
• Supporting clubs’ logistics and top-notch hospitality for the World Cup season

End-to-end management of the EWC Club Program incl.:

• Support long-term development and adjustments of the program parameters to align with EWC goals, incorporating clubs’ feedback, benchmarking, screening of other (e)sports league structures, running simulations
• Support operational execution, conducting assessments of clubs’ performance in the program, ensuring compliance with the terms, handling day-to-day communication
• Prepare program-related external marketing and communication activities
• Ensure continuance of the program updating the contractual terms when required, running negotiations with clubs
• Ensure internal transparency with updates on budgeting and status reports

Working with others:

• Work closely with the Product/Event Team, Marketing (Brand & Communication), Supporting functions (Finance)

Job requirements

• 4+ years in esports with a comprehensive understanding of the esports club and players' scene
• University degree in Marketing, Media Management, or a related field
• Proven track record in working with esports clubs and players, or experience in esports club management or/and as a player
• Hands-on working style and excellent communication skills
• Experience in working in a project-based, multi-stakeholder environment
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to move to Riyadh
