Senior Business Intelligence Manager

As the Senior BI Manager for the Esports World Cup Foundation, your mission is to lead the development and execution of data-driven strategies, providing actionable insights to drive business growth and operational excellence. You will be instrumental in leveraging data analytics, market intelligence, and business metrics to inform key decisions, optimize performance, and enhance the overall competitiveness of our esports initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Business Intelligence Strategy:

• Provide a data-driven “single source of truth” for strategic decision-making
• Be the business partner for the stream owners to identify the use cases for the business intelligence and analytics
• Develop and implement a comprehensive business intelligence strategy

Data Analysis and Insight:

• Analyze revenue streams and identify opportunities to optimize pricing, promotions, and product offerings to maximize revenue potential
• Analyze spending and identify opportunities to optimize the cost of marketing and product costs
• Analyze vertical-specific drivers to steer the decision-making
• Conduct thorough market analyses to identify industry trends, market opportunities, and potential threats.
• Monitor competitor activities, analyzing their strategies and performance

Reporting:

• Prepare regular reports and dashboards for executive leadership, providing actionable insights
• Utilize visualization tools to communicate complex data in an accessible manner
• Provide strategic recommendations based on market intelligence

Performance Monitoring and KPI Management:

• Collaborate with executive leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of esports initiatives
• Implement performance dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide real-time insights

Data Governance and Quality Assurance:

• Identify the reliable statistics resources, opportunities, and limitations of the available data, and work together with 3rd parties to fill in the gaps
• Create and manage internal customized databases aligned with the needs of EWCF
• Establish data governance standards and practices to ensure data quality and integrity

Job requirements

• 6+ years of proven experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles, preferably within the esports or gaming industry
• University degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
• Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms
• Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian market and esports industry trends
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to move to Riyadh
