Role location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose: We are seeking a seasoned B2B Marketing and Events professional to spearhead the development, planning, and execution of B2B events like our inaugural New Global Sport Conference (NGSC). This role focuses on delivering a premier conference experience that connects industry leaders, enhances our brand’s reputation, and establishes a strategic platform for networking and thought leadership in the global sports arenas. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and a proven track record of planning and executing successful B2B events.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute high-profile B2B events like the NGSC.

  • Develop and implement an overarching event strategy, aligning with company goals, target audience needs, and the latest industry trends in sports and technology.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.

  • Create a comprehensive project plan detailing budgets, timelines, vendor partnerships, and resource allocation to achieve event objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, and key industry stakeholders.

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to build marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.

  • Work closely with the content, digital marketing, and PR teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing communications.

  • Manage the B2B marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics.

  • Lead an external team of agencies, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Conduct a thorough post-event analysis, including data collection, attendee feedback, and lessons learned, to measure event success and identify areas for improvement.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media, or equivalent.

  • 8+ years of extensive experience in B2B event management and marketing

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven experience in developing and executing large-scale B2B conferences.

  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and best practices.

  • Exceptional project and budget management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Experience in managing external agencies

  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.

  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.

  • Prior esports industry experience is preferred

  • Very good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
